Founded just after WWI, Brazil’s Sausages & Pies was one of Amersham’s largest employers by the 1930s with a fleet of 10 delivery vans and a six-ton lorry which was used to bring carcases of meat down from Smithfield. One of these early delivery vans, a Ford Model T will be on display outside Amersham Museum for Heritage Day on September 6.
